The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency.
The second is that automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency.

Patrick Crowe – President and Co-Founder Xenophille Media
“Isolde made it possible for me to think again, to plan and organize the three different businesss that I was operating. Isolde had… an intuitive sense of my business, my priorities and my models of thinking… Played an important role in the business migrating to a new level including a new office and a dozen employees.”

Tom McGillis – President, Fresh TV Inc.
“Isolde came to my office to see if she could re-organize my filing system (none!). Now, instead of panicking ever time I need to locate a document, I just open a filing cabinet (since there is no longer any mountain of paper to scale) and find what I need within seconds! Her honest and straight forward approach was refreshing and has brought peace and flow to my creative and administrative work”

Home Office

The home office is unique because you fit your home office into and around your home; the desk in one room, filing cabinet in another, and who knows where the stationary supplies should go! Particularly if you are a parent with a young child – your “office” has to be where your child is and that means that having a traditional office is out of the question. And even if you do have a one room dedicated to being your home office you want to be efficient and productive, is easy to maintain and fits in with your personal style.

In an economic climate where sales are slow or declining, companies often downsize their employee base and/or the office space itself, resulting in smaller personal workstations and heavier individual workloads. Employees do essential work first and low priority tasks such as filing, purging and desk organizing are put on the back burner for “when I get time”. This ultimately creates offices that look more cluttered than ever before and decreases employee productivity.Whether you are a busy executive with a Fortune 500 firm or an entrepreneur running your own business out of the basement, you will struggle with the same organizational inefficiencies and overwhelm and be only too aware of the impact this is having on you, your staff and your business’s potential for expansion.

NPO’s and NGO’s

Non-Government-Organizations and the Not-For-Profit industry is unique in the challenges it faces and the impact that disorganization has on it.  These are not corporate environments, staff regularly change, volunteers come and go, and funds and resources are always too little. Of course they also have the same issues as most companies – too much work, too little time to do it and a working environment that is cramped and full of piles of paper. I work personally with managers and staff putting systems, processes and environments in place that are conducive to productivity and a healthy work place.
